The Flat

The flat is part of a group of  Serviced Apartments, a traditional Athenian family-owned venture providing superb quality independent, yet serviced accommodation to visitors who seek to visit Athens and reside in its heart. Recently renovated and refurbished (2016 & 2021) with four elements in mind: comfort, elegance, abundant facilities and making your stay in Athens a unique comfortable and memorable experience.

The large 55 sq.m. flat boasts a balcony and views of the surrounding area. Its interior design is a fusion of classical and modern, providing a relaxing, independent space with a large sofa, a 32” Flat Screen TV and coffee tables, while also catering for your working space needs by provision of a desk and free WiFi. The apartment is perfect for solo travelers, friends or couples as its bedroom boasts a double bed that can also split in two singles, if need be. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities including fridge, freezer, a filter coffee maker, kettle, dishes and utensils. The large bathroom includes a bath tub. Toiletries like shampoo and shower gel are included, as is a hair-dryer. The heating is autonomous at winter while the A/C ensures you spend those warm summer days in as cool an environment as you wish.

Accessibility

The apartment is easily accessible by car (parking is available upon request at an extra charge) or public transport, as it sits on a number of major road arteries enjoying a number of bus connections and the ‘Evangelismos’ Metro station only a short 6 min. walk away.  Moreover, connections from the airport are quick and simple, with a direct connection to ‘Evangelismos’ Metro station in just under an hour. Driving with your own vehicle from the airport would typically only take 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

The Area

The serviced apartments are ideally situated in the center of Athens and one can easily walk to the Athens National Gallery (only across the street), to the central Syntagma Sq. and the Parliament, to the impressive and majestic Panathenaic Stadium made entirely of marble, where the first modern Olympics were held in 1896, the world-renowned Acropolis Museum and many other museums, landmarks and archaeological sites, to the Athens Concert Hall, as well as the historical center of Athens, the picturesque ancient neighborhood of Plaka, the site of the Acropolis, or Thisseion, among many others.

Also a short walk from the apartment lies the elegant trendy neighborhood of Kolonaki, where a large number of upmarket quality cafes, restaurants, bistros, bars and nightclubs are located. Kolonaki is also a major shopping district for the elite Athens crowd, boasting a large number of designer boutiques and international brand names.

Directions & Getting Around

Arriving from the Athens International Airport El. Venizelos:

• By Bus:
  The express shuttle airport bus X95 drops you off on VASILISSIS SOFIAS Avenue. From there, it is a five minute walk from the appartment.
• By Metro:
  Get on Metro Line 3 (Aghia Marina – Douk. Plakentias – Airport) from Athens airport and stop at EVANGELISMOS Metro station. Τake the left exit towards VASILISSIS SOFIAS Avenue. Walk pass the Hilton Hotel, cross Michalakopoulou street, continue straight on Vas. Alexandrou Street. By metro you can also very easily get to Syntagma Square in just two stops, at the very heart of Athens, and to Monastiraki Square, the historic core of the city. The metro system also easily connects to the Port of Piraeus, the main train station, and the tram that takes you to the coastal area of greater Athens.
• By Car/Taxi from the airport:
  Follow the main airport highway (Attiki Odos) until you reach the exit for Messogion Avenue. Turn left on Messogion towards the city centre and continue until Feidippidou Street. Turn left and continue for one block to reach Mihalakopoulou Street. Drive for about 2km down Mihalakopoulou. The Taxi cost from the airport will be approximate 40 Euro.
• Upon request we can arrange a car or minibus pick up service with a personal driver. Extra charges apply.
• Bus and/or trolley lines that connect you to practically all parts of the city. These are located on Vassilissis Sophias and the main street outside the hotel. Ask us for more info on how to come from, or go to a particular neighborhood or location.
• A baby car-seat can also be provided upon request.

Amenities / Services

• Serviced Apartments in Athens offers four identical apartments for two people. One on each floor (1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th). If you have a preference for a specific floor please let us know in advance; we may be able to accommodate you (subject to availability).
• The breakfast offered is continental buffet style with some Greek seasonal products. Breakfast is served daily from 07.15am until 10.30am.
• Early check in and/or late check out is subject to availability. If needed we may be able to store your luggage for you.
• We may be also able to accommodate certain pets. Please do message us for further information.
• There is a daily cleaning service for all the Serviced Apartments. The apartments are part of the Green Key program; an ecological conscious initiative to reduce our carbon footprint. For this reason we try to change the towels and linens every 2-3 days. However if you wish we can change your sheets and towels daily, please do let us know.
• Laundry service is available at an extra cost, at 10€/wash (max 8kg).
• For long stays (4weeks+) breakfast is not included. You can enjoy the breakfast with an extra daily cost. All the serviced apartments have fully equipped kitchens.
