Casa Marpissa, a 90sqm two bedroom holiday home in Paros, is decorated in a traditional yet also modern style and can accommodate up to five guests.

Choosing to stay here provides a unique opportunity to experience the island life while staying in one of the most beautiful and authentic villages of Paros, that have retained their charm and beauty throughout the centuries.

Interior

This Marpissa holiday home consists of a ground floor where you will find a comfortable size living room with a built-in sofa bed, a flat screen TV and an air-conditioning unit. On the same level you will find the fully equipped kitchen with a dining table and another flat screen TV and from there just three steps up to the spacious bathroom with a shower.

The master bedroom of the home with the en-suite bathroom offers a built-in double bed, a flat screen TV, a small kitchenette and an air-conditioning unit that also serves as an independent studio, as it also offers a private separate entrance. The second bedroom of this holiday home in on ground level as well, offering a double bed, and a flat screen TV.

Casa Marpissa was renovated with your comfort primarily in mind. All the traditional Cycladic architectural elements were retained while adding modern touches and amenities.

Whereabouts

Casa Marpissa is located in the traditional village of Marpissa on the island of Paros. Marpissa stands on the hill of Kefalos just above the seaside settlement and fishing port of Piso Livadi.

The whitewashed cubic houses of the village (some dating back to the 16th and 17th century) are built amphitheatrically, something very common on all the Cycladic Islands, and stand along narrow streets, churches and windmills. At the top of the hills ruins of an old castle can be found as well as the monastery of Agios Antonios,

Access

Guests will have complete and exclusive access to all areas of the Marpissa holiday home during their stay.

You can therefore choose to relax indoors, or on the large private outdoor patio, at any time.

Directions & Getting Around

We strongly recommend using a vehicle, rented or privately-owned, to enjoy the island of Paros to its fullest potential.

Taxis could also be utilised, though may be scarce at times during specific parts of the season. In general, enjoying full travel independence either way, is a known ingredient in order to have a fantastic time in Paros.

Important Notes

• We would kindly ask that you respect the neighbours at all times. We urge your attention to the following ‘quiet hours’ enforced by law; during which you must pay special attention; so that there is no disturbing or excessive noise coming from this home or its surrounding plot of land:
  • Summer quiet hours (Apr.1-Sep30): 3PM-5.30PM & 11PM-7AM
  • Winter quiet hours (Oct.1-Mar.31): 3.30PM-5.30PM & 10PM-7.30AM
• Upon arrival guests must display a valid form of identification (ID or passport). Also a short-term rental agreement must be signed as required by current Greek law under the Greek taxation system. Guests will not be able to check in if this requirement is not satisfied.
• This home’s refurbishment and interior design was constructed utilising the finest materials. We expect you to respect it accordingly. Any damages will incur the relevant charges. In case these are not covered by the deposit held, additional charges will be claimed.
• A range of services can also be arranged on request: Daily cleaning and/or cooking staff, assistance regarding use of the facilities, Transportation & Chauffeur Services, Boat Charters and Trips and other Tailor Made Services. Please just ask.
