Casa Irena is a lovely 94sqm. 3-bedoom vacation home on the fantastically unique Greek island of Alonissos, an international hotspot for nature enthusiasts, and those with an appreciation for quality, seeking the chance to relax and rejuvenate.

This warm and comfortable holiday home can accommodate up to 6 guests, comes with its own private veranda and boasts views & direct access to the shared swimming pool and the lovely beach right in front of the property! Casa Irena is part of a complex of five more holiday homes, and thus offers a wider range of amenities, services and facilities than you would not usually have access to at your typical holiday rental.

As a guest at Casa Irena you will enjoy access to the large shared swimming pool and the pool area boasting fantastic views over the Aegean Sea, free private parking, free WiFi, free use of the BBQ, and a daily cleaning service, among other things. Casa Irena is a lovely warm vacation home that can serve as the ideal getaway for families and/or groups of friends wishing to experience the laid back unpretentious vibe of the island of Alonissos and the fantastic natural landscape, as well as the large protected marine wildlife park that this uniquely charming Greek island is famed for.

 Interior

This warm Greek holiday home has been designed and furnished employing a rustic, traditional feel, and combining it with modern elements. Entering Casa Irena, you will come across the living room area, which includes satellite TV reception, a dining table that can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with all basic amenities provided.

Walking up to the second floor through a set of wooden stairs, you will reach three separate double bedrooms and a second bathroom. One of the bedrooms even has its own balcony with lovely garden views. The living room and all three bedrooms each include their own air-conditioning unit.

Exterior

Casa Irena and the other 5 independent holiday homes of the complex have been built on a large piece of land, with several fruit, palm and olive trees in its lovely green garden, and just a few metres away from the beach.  There is a large shared swimming pool and lovely sitting area by the pool, boasting direct and unobstructed views over the Aegean Sea.

The exterior private area of Casa Sofia includes a fairly sized veranda, also offering direct access to the swimming pool.

Whereabouts

Casa Irena is located about one minute’s walk away from a beach right in front of the property and about 400m away from one of the most visited organised beaches on the island of Alonissos, where you can enjoy a range of watersports, inflatable waterslides and other beach perks.

The surrounding area of the island consists of a sea of green, meeting with the actual sea on its shores, luscious & thick pine forests extending all the way to numerous idyllic beaches with clystal clear turquoise blue waters. Tranquility and relaxation squared.

The Greek island of Alonissos, positioned on the west side of the Aegean Sea and at the edge of the Sporades islands complex, radiates charm and pure, authentic, and unparalleled beauty. A true gem mostly known to insiders, locals and connoisseurs, Alonissos is the place where one can leave their busy existence behind, feel their senses fully connected with nature and the relaxing pace that guarantees islanders increased longevity, and recharge.

Directions & Getting Around

We strongly recommend using a vehicle, rented or privately-owned, to enjoy the island of Alonissos to its fullest potential.

Taxis could also be utilised, though may be scarce at times during specific parts of the season. In general, enjoying full travel independence either way, is a known ingredient in order to have a fantastic time in Alonissos.

Important Notes

• We would kindly ask that you respect the neighbours at all times. We urge your attention to the following ‘quiet hours’ enforced by law; during which you must pay special attention; so that there is no disturbing or excessive noise coming from the accommodation:
  • Summer quiet hours (Apr.1-Sep30): 3PM-5.30PM & 11PM-7AM
  • Winter quiet hours (Oct.1-Mar.31): 3.30PM-5.30PM & 10PM-7.30AM
• Upon arrival guests must display a valid form of identification (ID or passport). Also, a short-term rental agreement must be signed as required by current Greek law under the Greek taxation system. Guests will not be able to check in if this requirement is not satisfied.
• This accommodation’s refurbishment and interior design was constructed utilising the finest materials. We expect you to respect it accordingly. Any damages will incur the relevant charges. In case these are not covered by the deposit held, additional charges will be claimed.
• A range of services can also be arranged on request: Daily cleaning and/or cooking staff, assistance regarding use of the facilities, Transportation & Chauffeur Services, Boat Charters and Trips and other Tailor Made Services. Please just ask.
• The security deposit is handed in cash upon arrival and is return in cash upon departure.
