Casa Nicole is an exquisitely interior designed 170sqm 3-bedroom beachside Greek vacation home that offers you the opportunity to enjoy your holiday in Evia Greece in absolute finesse.  This home is split over three levels and can comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests. All rooms have large and wide windows and offer stunning uninterrupted views over the charming Evian Gulf, the immaculately preserved 3000sqm. Mediterranean gardens surrounding Casa Nicole, and the swimming pool.

Ideal for families, groups of friends or those on business holidays, both the interior and exterior spaces of Casa Nicole radiate elegance and offer you comfort and unparalleled style. The maisonette is located in a resort, hence you will also benefit from services not usually offered in most other Greek holiday home rentals, and it is one of just two stylish holiday homes and one holiday villa in total available, on the resort.

The other maisonette is Casa Marianne that can accommodate up to 9 guests, and Villa Regina that can accommodate up to 2 guests. Please note that you can rent out each of these independently, or by combining a couple of them, or actually all three of them at the same time. All three holiday accommodations, Villa Regina, Casa Marianne and Casa Nicole, are available to be booked together as Villa Aeon, if that suits your needs.

A large swimming pool with fantastic views over the sea and garden is only shared between residents of the two maisonettes and the one holiday villa. Although Casa Nicole is geographically positioned in the Greek mainland, it belongs to the wider municipality of the island of Evia and is only about 10 minutes away from the island’s capital Chalkida which can be reached by car or by foot, via a bridge.

Accessible from Athens by car in less than 50 minutes, Casa Nicole is a fantastic way to grace yourself with a unique holiday experience in Greece, exploring the unique island of Evia and all it has to offer, while still being close to the capital Athens which can also be very easily and conveniently reached for day trips and for anything else your heart desires.

Interior

Casa Nicole has been stylishly interior designed by taking the outmost care in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for your own pleasure. Utilising a combination of marble, earthly textures, and soft tones like white, soft grey, brown and soft beige, has graced this holiday home with a very contemporary tone and vibe.

Casa Nicole includes three bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and one with two adjacent single beds on the upper level, & one more bedroom with a queen-size bed on the lower level. There is a sofa bed that is also available on the lower level for one extra guest. Four bathrooms with shower are available in total, two on the upper level and two on the lower level.

At garden level you will find a contemporary fully equipped kitchen, complete with its own table and chairs for five people and offering all modern amenities, as well as the living room, which includes a large dining table for six people, and its own fireplace. Casa Nicole boasts wide windows across all its rooms and spaces, all offering you lovely sea or garden views to enjoy during your stay.

Exterior

Casa Nicole boasts four private verandas. Two offer magnificent sea views while the other two offer views of the impressive Mediterranean garden and the swimming pool. The stunning views over the sea of the Evian Gulf and the mountain ranges of Evia radiate an air of captivating romanticism, and are bound to charm and rejuvenate you.

A roof terrace with equally stunning views over the sea and the Evian Gulf is also available for you on the top floor, complete with a built-in sofa, a marble table and a kitchenette. This is an excellent spot to enjoy your meals, your coffee, or perhaps a glass of some fine local wine, drinks or cocktails, while taking in the remarkable views over the sunset.

Whereabouts

Although Casa Nicole is geographically positioned in the Greek mainland and you can reach it in less than 50 minutes drive from the capital Athens, it belongs to the wider municipality of the island of Evia. It is conveniently located just five minutes away from the local town of ‘Drosia’ and ten minutes away from from ‘Khalkis’ or ‘Chalkida’, the lively capital of the island of Evia.

The island of Evia is a superb choice for visitors, as it combines a wonderful and mostly untouched natural environment, gastronomy and local culture, away from mass tourism and busy tiring tourist spots, while also offering quick and easy access from Athens directly by car through a bridge that connects the island to the mainland. Positioned 83km from the capital Athens, and 100km from the International Athens Airport, it can provide a great spot from which you could also visit and enjoy Athens occasionally, without living in the hustle and bustle of a large metropolis.

Casa Nicole specifically, is ideally positioned for an inspirational holiday that can cater to your most discerning needs. Furthermore, several places of prime cultural, archaeological, historic or simply aesthetic interest are within driving distance of Casa Nicole. Evia, the second largest Greek island regarding size and population, is one of the lesser known destinations in Greece. The island of Evia, often also spelled ‘Euboea’, is a superbly wonderful and very special destination. A place that has fortunately managed to escape heavy tourist activity until now, remains unspoilt and available for you to explore and enjoy to the fullest, before it also unavoidably gives in to ‘progress’ as most places of its calibre in terms of splendour and beauty do, at some point.

It is located close to Athens and connected to the Greek mainland by car via a bridge, as well as several separate ferry boat connections departing from a number of small ports in Attica and beyond. It is therefore so much easier to visit than most other Greek islands. Yet Evia still offers the possibility to enjoy landscapes, people and local cultures still unscathed by the implications of mass visitation and tourism.

This is an area of extreme and diverse natural beauty ranging from densely forested and remote mountainous regions, gorges, canyons, natural springs and rivers which you will mostly find across its central and northern parts, to areas typical of the charming and very unique dry landscape one usually finds across the Cyclades Islands region, in its southern parts. The area is also packed with sites, monuments and areas of vast cultural, and archaeological significance spanning a history of millenia and a wide range of eras, from the neolithic to the classical and beyond. Ancient Greek temples, medieval towers, castles, and Venetian fortresses, the largely unknown ‘Dragon Houses’ or ‘Drakospita’ of yet undecided origin, believed  to have been built by the tribe of ‘Dryopes’, an ancient Greek tribe of settlers that emigrated here several millenia ago from the central Greek mainland, and so much more.

The town of ‘Khalkis’ or ‘Chalkida’ offers an abundance of shops, banks, super markets, taverns, coffee houses and restaurants for your convenience. As it is the capital of the region, you will find many utilities and services on offer that you would usually have to travel to reach, if residing in other areas of the region.

The island of Evia and Casa Nicole therefore offer visitors a superb choice to enjoy a wonderful and mostly untouched natural environment, gastronomy and local culture, away from mass tourism and busy tiring tourist spots, while also offering quick and easy access from Athens directly by car or ferry. Access

Guests will enjoy complete and exclusive access to all interior areas of this home, as well as its private outdoor terraces and verandas, during their stay.

The garden, as well as the swimming pool and its outdoor facilities are shared between guests of Villa Nicole, the second holiday home, and the one small villa, that are also located in the resort.

You can therefore choose to relax indoors or outdoors and enjoy the fantastic views in full comfort, at any time.

Directions & Getting Around

We strongly recommend using a vehicle, rented or privately-owned, to enjoy the island to its fullest potential.

Taxis could also be utilised, though may be scarce at times during specific parts of the season. In general, enjoying full travel independence either way, is a known ingredient in order to have a fantastic time in Evia.

• We would kindly ask that you respect the neighbours at all times. We urge your attention to the following ‘quiet hours’ enforced by law; during which you must pay special attention; so that there is no disturbing or excessive noise coming from the accommodation:
  • Summer quiet hours (Apr.1-Sep30): 3PM-5.30PM & 11PM-7AM
  • Winter quiet hours (Oct.1-Mar.31): 3.30PM-5.30PM & 10PM-7.30AM
• Upon arrival guests must display a valid form of identification (ID or passport). Also, a short-term rental agreement must be signed as required by current Greek law under the Greek taxation system. Guests will not be able to check in if this requirement is not satisfied.
• This accommodation’s refurbishment and interior design was constructed utilising the finest materials. We expect you to respect it accordingly. Any damages will incur the relevant charges. In case these are not covered by the deposit held, additional charges will be claimed.
• A range of services can also be arranged on request: Daily cleaning and/or cooking staff, assistance regarding use of the facilities, Transportation & Chauffeur Services, Boat Charters and Trips and other Tailor Made Services. Please just ask.
